The historic families of Valley Junction

Taste of the Junction honors those who built the Historic Valley Junction by remembering and celebrating the people and their stories. See our gallery of stories here.

The Junction Speaks

Each year as part of the annual  Taste of the Junction Multicultural Festival, the public is invited to hear personal stories from residents and descendants of those who were the first to come to Valley Junction. There are also videos, slideshows, the PopUp History Museum and artwork display by commissioned artist and 5th generation descendant, Julia Roland.

Sharing the History of  the people of Valley Junction

The Junction Speaks is a tradition on opening night during the Multicultural Festival. However, the preservation of these stories is not just in our hearts. The collection of stories has been curated and shared in slideshows, videos, and booklets on the PopUp Museum banners, at the Gallery, and on our website.

We’re excited to launch our new website in time for this year’s summer events. Please be patient as the collection of descendants’ stories is being formatted and all will return. Plus, more stories are continually being added.

thank you!
