Alonda Long is a dedicated community leader and lifelong learner with a deep compassion for young people. As a fifth-generation descendant of Valley Junction, she takes pride in her roots.

A graduate of Roosevelt High School, Alonda began her college journey at Tennessee State University before earning her bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Iowa.

 

With an impressive 18-year career at Wells Fargo in Mortgage Servicing, she has also held leadership positions within the Employee Resource Networks locally and at the enterprise level.​

A lifelong learner, in 2023 a graduate of the Director's Council African American Leadership Academy and is on track to earn her Master’s of Science in Psychology with an emphasis in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Grand Canyon University in Fall 2025.

Alonda actively volunteers with numerous nonprofits and organizations in her community.

Balancing her roles as a devoted mother of four, and a community advocate, Alonda is committed to empowering young people.​​​
