Meet Jasmine Harris, an accountant with a passion for financial literacy in underprivileged communities. With four years of experience in the finance industry, she has developed an affinity for bridging the gap between people and numbers.
Born and raised in Washington, D.C., her educational background includes HBCU experience as a Summa Cum Laude graduate of North Carolina A&T State University.
In 2021, post-graduation, she relocated to Des Moines with hopes of learning more about the Agricultural space through employment at John Deere.

She is a proud member of the illustrious Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, which instilled in her a commitment of service to all. Throughout her undergraduate experience, she served as the Treasurer and Financial Secretary of her chapter, ensuring accordance with secure and reliable financial practices.
​
An avid participant in her mother’s Baptist ministry projects at homebase, she is well acquainted with the benefits of collectivism and spreading good faith among others. The importance of preserving legacy and rich history in ever-changing environments is a sentiment held close as she experienced firsthand how gentrification can eradicate the culture of a community.
